KST Book III Episode 24

Turning up the Heat

"Previously, on KST Book III: Warrior of Shadows, our heroes in Sinnoh, accompanied by Luigi Guy and Arianna, made their way up to Stark Mountain, Stephen catching a new Pokemon and beating Jack and Russell in a double battle with Arianna along the way.  Once inside, Mewtwo attacked, wanting an item from Arianna, the Mystic Rod.  When it seemed that Arianna, in her alter ego, Nerissa, would be doomed, a Pokemon Trainer came from out of the blue to assist our heroes."

Mewtwo: You humans will stop me.  You and the Pokemon how have sided with you shall be destroyed!

Mewtwo attacks with Confusion, sending rocks towards our heroes.  Poliwhirl uses Water Gun, Sparkle uses Thunderbolt, and Ivysaur uses Razor Leaf against the rocks.  Nerissa and Ristar jump in to attack Mewtwo.  Mewtwo starts blocking their attacks with Psychic.

Luigi Guy: C'mon, Luigi, we gotta get in there.  Nothing can stop you!

Luigi: Okay, if you say so.  You got things covered here, stranger?

Pokemon Trainer: You got it.  Go on and help your friends.

Luigi: (deep breath) Okay, let's go.

Pokemon Trainer: Good luck.  Ivysaur, you watch their backs.

Ivysaur:  (nods) Saur, Ivy.

Stephen: Kujo, watch over Arianna.  Poliwhirl, help out Ivysaur.

Poliwhirl: (thumbs up) Poliwhirl.

Kujo: Okay.

Russell: Hey, you, new guy, what are you doing here?  Did you know something like this would happen?

Pokemon Trainer: No, I just came here to battle Heatran.  Once I learned about Mewtwo's plans, I had to help.

Stephen: Now's not the time to talk about that.  Jack, Russell, we need your help.

Jack: You need MY help?  No way!  Why would I help you?

Stephen: Because if we don't stop Mewtwo, he's going to waste all of us, and then, you'll never be able to get your revenge on me.

Jack: Grrr.... I hate you, but not that much.  Alright.  Go, Gabite.

Gabite: (comes out of his Pokeball) Gabite.

Russell: If Jack is in this, so am I.  Go, Seadra.

Seadra: (comes out of her Pokeball) Duu, Duu.

Pokemon Trainer: Alright, let's move!

Luigi, Poliwhirl, Luigi Guy, Ivysaur, Gabite, and Seadra join in the fight with Ristar and Nerissa to take down Mewtwo.  Gabite attacks with Dragon Breath as Seadra attacks with Bubblebeam.  Luigi Guy fires electric balls at Mewtwo as Luigi tries to jump on him.  Mewtwo uses Psychic to negate all attacks.

Luigi: Oh, man, this is tougher than I thought.

Nerissa: We can't give up.  We have to keep going.

Ristar: You read my mind, Arianna, or Nerissa, or whoever you are now.

Kujo: (uses Hidden Power) Take this!

Mewtwo: (negates Hidden Power) You, young Unown, you're a wild Pokemon, not bound to any human.  Why do fight against me?  Why side with that wretched human?

Kujo: Meanie.

Nerissa: You take that back. (attacks with her sword) Stephen is the sweetest boy I know.  He's anything but wretched.

Mewtwo: You! (swats the sword out of Nerissa's hand.  It lands inside a strange rock) I'll claim what is mine later.  As for you- (Ristar grabs him) What?

Ristar: Leave her alone, you bully! (rams himself into Mewtwo) Heya!

Mewtwo: Uh! (steps back) How?

Ristar: Lucky, I guess.

Mewtwo: (aside) No... I can't read his mind... He was able to hit me physically, just as before with Lucario.

Stephen: Everyone, attack now!

Poliwhirl: (uses Water Gun) Whi-i-i-i-irl...!

Sparkle: (attacks with Thunderbolt) Pika...chu!

Ivysaur: (attacks with Bullet Seed) Saur...!

Gabite: (attacks with Hyper Beam) Gabite!

Seadra: (attacks with Hydro Pump) Duu, DUU!

Mewtwo quickly dodges all the attacks.  All the attacks hit the strange rock where Nerissa's sword is stuck in.  Ashes around the rock start to shake off.

Luigi: Darn, that didn't work.

Mewtwo: Foolish humans.  You all can not stop me.

Ristar: Yeah, about that, I'm not really a human.  I'm a shooting star.

Luigi Guy: And I'm a Shy Guy.

Mewtwo: It doesn't matter to me.  All you lifeforms are scum.  Now-

????: Heeeeeraaaaaah!

Stephen: Now what?

Luigi Guy: MIO?!  Behind you!

Metwo: Do you think I'm foolish enough to fall for that?

Behind Mewtwo, the Lava Dome Pokemon, Heatran, slowly stomps towards him, with Nerissa's sword stuck in its head.  Heatran attacks with Lava Plume, attacking Mewtwo, Poliwhirl, Ivysaur, and Sparkle.  Everyone else jumps out of the way.  Poliwhirl, Sparkle, and Ivysaur faint.

Luigi: Yiiiiiiaaaaaahhhh....!

Jack: No freakin' way!  It's Heatran.

Heatran: Heerrraaahhh! (stomps around) Heeerrah, Herraah, Herraaaaahhh....!

Nerissa: Sparkle! (runs towards her) Are you okay?

Pokemon Trainer: It's gonna be okay. (he and Stephen run up to Poliwhirl and Ivysaur) I have a Revive for your Pikachu.

Stephen: Thanks, dude.  Take a nice, long rest, Poliwhirl. (calls back Poliwhirl) What about your Ivysaur?

Pokemon Trainer: Don't worry, he'll be fine. (calls back Ivysaur) We gotta do something fast.

Ristar: So that thing is Heatran?  Man, he looks scary.

Mewtwo: (aside) What is going on here?  I can read the star's thoughts.  He thinks Heatran might be in some sort of pain the way it's moving around.  Yet... I can't read Heatran's mind.  I don't understand this.

Heatran: (attacks Mewtwo with Overheat) Heeerrraaaahhh.....!

Mewtwo: Uh! (crashes into the wall) He can't stop me....

Eggman Nega: (voice in Mewtwo's head) Mewtwo, can you hear me?  My sources tell me that those two knights have captured Blaze.  Should Dedede send another monster?

Mewtwo: No... I'll go myself.  Prepare the Heavy Lobster with the specs we stole from Meta Knight. I'll be there shortly. (teleports away)

Kujo: He's gone.

Stephen: Mewtwo got away, but we got bigger problems.

Ristar: I'll say.  That Heatran guy is out of control.

Nerissa: My sword is still in Heatran's head.  That must be what's causing his rampage.

Luigi: I think you're right. (everything starts shaking) He-e-e-ey, what's going on now?

Russell: Oh, man, it's Heatran.  He's in such a rage, he's activating the lava inside Stark Mountain.  If we're not quick enough, the entire volcano will erupt!

Pokemon Trainer: I've got an idea.  Go, Squirtle!

Squirtle: (comes out of his Pokeball) Squirtle!

Pokemon Trainer: My Squirtle and your Seadra will try to cool Heatran down.  Nerissa, is it?  I want you, the star thing, and the guy in the green hat to help Gabite distract Heatran.

Luigi and Luigi Guy: Which guy in the green hat?

Stephen: Sounds like a plan.

Jack: Yeah, but if anyone asks, it was MY idea.  Gabite, use Dragon Claw!

Gabite: (attacks Heatran) GABI-I-ITE!

Nerissa: What about Sparkle?

Pokemon Trainer: I'll keep your Pikachu safe.  You worry about getting your sword back.

Ristar: Enough dilly-dallying.  Let's go.

Stephen: Okay.  C'mon, Cubone!

Cubone: (comes out of his Pokeball) Cubone!

Cubone and Gabite attack with Bone Club and Dragon Claw respectfully as Nerissa, Ristar, and Luigi run around Heatran trying to confuse him.  Squirtle and Seadra attack with Water Gun to try and cool off Heatran.

Pokemon Trainer: Okay, this is working.  Good.

Riolu: (pops out of his Pokeball and stands beside the Pokemon Trainer) Riolu. ...Riolu!

Pokemon Trainer: Oh, hello, there.  Are you wondering about this Pikachu?  She's going to be okay.

Riolu: (sigh of relief) Riolu.

Russell: As long as that sword is in Heatran's head, he's going to get rougher and rougher.

Pokemon Trainer: You're right.  One of us has to stand on top of Heatran and pull the sword out of his head.

Jack: You nuts?  I'm not getting up there.

Russell: I have to agree with Jack.  You have to be crazy to do that.

Luigi Guy: C'mon, you two.  We gotta decide who gets to pull the sword from the stone.

Jack and Russell: Hmmm....

Luigi Guy: What are you- (Jack grabs and throws him towards Heatran) Miiiiiooo....! (grabs on to the sword) Hey, I made it.

Luigi: Luigi Guy, what are you doing?

Heatran: Heeeerrrr? (swings Luigi Guy around) Heeerraaaaahhh!

Luigi Guy: Whoa, easy boy, I'm trying to help you!

Kujo: Heatran! (flys up to Heatran.  Heatran uses Fire Fang) Aaahhh! (flies towards a rising lava pool) Aaahh...

Stephen: Gotcha! (catches Kujo.  Starts to loose his balance) Whoa...!

Nerissa: I gotcha! (grabs Stephen's shirt and pulls him to safety) Thank goodness you're alright.

Stephen: Thanks, Nerissa.  You okay, Kujo?

Kujo: ....Thank you.

Luigi Guy: I almost got it... (the sword falls out of Heatran's head) Mio! (lands next to Nerissa) I got your sword back.

Nerissa: Thank you, Luigi Guy. (takes her sword back) Now maybe Heatran will calm down.

Heatran: (attacks Cubone, Gabite, and Seadra with Lava Plume) Heeerrraaaah!

Cubone: Cubone! (faint) ....Bone.

Gabite: (faints) Gabite.

Seadra: (faints) Duu...

Heatran: Herrah. (its body starts to glow) Heeeeeerraaahhh....!

Ristar: Hey, we took the sword outta Heatran.  Why does he still want to attack us?

Luigi: I think he's still mad at us for attacking him.

Russell: (calls back Seadra) Oh, dear, that's his signature move, Mamga Storm.  We're dead!

Stephen: (calls back Cubone) We gotta do something.

Pokemon Trainer: No, we don't. Go, Charizard, Ivysaur!

Charizard: (comes out of his Pokeball) Chaaaarrr...!

Ivysaur: (comes out of his Pokeball exhausted) Ivy.... saur.

Squirtle: (runs up to both Charizard and Ivysaur) Squirtle, Squirtle.

Pokemon Trainer: (hands Sparkle back to Nerissa) Everyone, get out of here.  I'll handle this.

Jack: And leave you to catch Heatran?  Hah!  Give me one good reason why? (a huge falls right in front of him) Goiy! (calls back Gabite and runs away) Later!

Russell: Jack! (runs away too) Wait for me!

Luigi: Are you sure about this?

Pokemon Trainer: My Pokemon and I can handle this.  Go.

Luigi Guy: If you say so.  Come, Luigi!

Ristar: Good luck, man.

Nerissa: Thank you for helping us.  Let's go, Stephen, Riolu.

Stephen: Yeah, one more thing before I go.  Does the term, "Warrior of Shadows" mean anything to you?

Pokemon Trainer: Um, no, it doesn't.  Why do you ask

Stephen: No reason.  Good luck.

Riolu: (nods) Riolu.

Stephen and Riolu follow everyone else as the Pokemon Trainer confronts Heatran with his three Pokemon.  Heatran prepares his signature move, Magma Storm.

Pokemon Trainer: You guys ready?

Charizard: Charrraarr.

Ivysaur: Ivysaur.

Squirtle: Squirt.

Heatran: Heeeeeerrrraahhhh....!

Pokemon Trainer: Alright.  Take this, TRIPLE FINISH!

Heatran attacks with Magma Storm.  Charizard attacks with Fire Blast, Squirtle attacks with Hydro Pump, and Ivysaur attacks with Solar Beam at the same time.  At the entrance to the Stark Mountain Cave, our heroes jump out just as an explosion occurs inside.  Everyone falls over and looks behind them.

Luigi Guy: That... was the greatest... adventure... ever. (faints) Mio.

Luigi: Phew.  I think everyone got out of there safely.

Nerissa: I think you're right.

Ristar: Yep. (Nerissa changes back to Arianna) ....Hey, what about that third trainer guy?

Arianna: I hope he got out of there alright.

Kujo: Hmmm... (looks up) Charizard!

Charizard: (flying in the air) Chaaaarr! (flies away with his trainer on his back) Chaaarrr...

Stephen: He's okay. HEY, DUDE, THERE'S SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN BUGGING ME.  WHAT'S YOUR NAME? ...Darn, I guess I'll never find out his name.

Arianna: (back hugs Stephen) It's okay, Stephen.  I'm glad you're safe.

Stephen: (blushes) Me too.

Sparkle: (wakes up) Chu? Pikachu.

Riolu: Rio! (throws his arms around Sparkle) Riolu!

Sparkle: (blushes like crazy) Pikachu...

Ristar: Aw, they're so cute.

Kamek: Oh, please, you're going to make me loose my lunch.

Luigi: Huh? (turns around) Hey, it's Kamek.

Kamek: That's not all.  I brought Zelda with me. (Princess Zelda appears) Aw, there you are.

Stephen and Arianna: Zelda! (They look at each other) Huh?  You know Zelda?

Zelda: It's good to see all of you again.  Kamek and I are here to bring Arianna and Luigi Guy home.

Arianna: What?  Why?

Zelda: I know this is hard for you to understand, but Stephen has an important mission to complete, and I'm afraid the one who has asked him for this task insists I take you back to Hyrule for your safety.

Arianna: But... I want to help Stephen.

Zelda: You have done an excellent job, Arianna.  I will ensure Stephen's safety.

Stephen: How about this; Once I'm done with my mission, I'll head straight back to you.  We'll be together as long as you want.  Would you like that?

Arianna: Stephen... (sniffs) Okay.

Riolu: Riolu... (sheds a tear) Rio.

Sparkle: (kisses Riolu on the cheek) Pikachu.

Riolu: (blushes like crazy) Riolu.

Luigi Guy: (sleeping) I can't wait for the next "Super Luigi" book to tell everyone about my adventure with Luigi...

Luigi: Hey, Kamek, can you do me a favor?  Don't erase Luigi Guy or Arianna's memory.

Kamek: Well... I do like to bend the rules abit.  Alright, but you'll owe me. (lifts Luigi Guy with his magic) Let's go, Arianna.

Arianna: There's one more thing I want to say to Stephen.

Stephen: Yea- (Arianna kisses him on the lips) Thank you.

Arianna: (giggles) I love you, Stephen.

Stephen: (blushes) I love you too, Arianna.

Arianna and Sparkle walk up to Zelda and Kamek.  Kamek opens a portal with his magic wand.  Arianna and Sparkle walk into the portal as Kamek gently tosses Luigi Guy into the portal.

Kamek: (aside to Zelda) I still think we shouldn't let that little girl use her powers to cross over from Hyrule to Sinnoh.

Zelda: (aside to Kamek) It is our fault, you know.  If the Lustrous Orb hadn't shattered, Stephen and Arianna would have never met.

Luigi: Bye, bye. (waves as Zelda and Kamek disappear) Well, that was scary.

Ristar: Yeah, but we never figured out if Mewtwo was using Stark Mountain to power up the labratories in Snowpoint City.

Stephen: I'm thinking that Magma Storm destroyed what we were looking for.

Riolu: Rio... (looks at his green scarf) Riolu...

Stephen: Aw, don't worry, little buddy, we'll see Arianna and Sparkle again real soon.  I promise.

Ristar: (chuckles) You should have seen your face, Stephen.  It was redder than a tomato.

Stephen: Aw, c'mon, dudes, surely you two have your eyes set on a girl.

Ristar: Actually, no.  I've been traveling so much, I never have time to find a date.  What about you, Luigi?

Luigi: Well.... there is Daisy...

Kujo: WHOA! (starts spinning around like crazy) ALPHA RED, ALPHA RED, ALPHA RED...!

Luigi: What's up with Kujo?

Stephen: I don't know.  He just started acting crazy for no reason.

Behind them, another portal opens up.  Sword Knight steps out and confronts our heroes.

Sword Knight: Luigi, Stephen, Ristar, hurry, come with me.

Ristar: Huh?  Hey, who are you?

Luigi: I know you, you're one of those knights trying to kidnap Blaze.

Sword Knight: I'm on your side now.  She, Kirby, and Lucario are in danger.  You have to come to the Sol Dimention right away.  They need your help.

Ristar: Guys, I think he's serious.

Stephen: Okay, dude.  Lead the way.

Sword KNight: Hurry! (Luigi, Stephen, Ristar, and Kujo run in) If we don't act soon, they're goners.

"With Heatran cooling down, our heroes go from one dangerous situation to another.  Now, they have to trust Sword Knight, who had been sent by Galactic Knight to capture Blaze, to help save Kirby, Blaze, and Lucario.  What danger could those three be in?  Can Sword Knight be trusted?  What exactly is Alpha Red?  Stay tuned for the next exciting installment of KST Book III: Warrior of Shadows."
