Blaze vs Omega Ch. 1

Terms of Peace?

"Within a dimesion influenced by seven powerful stones called 'Sol Emeralds,' an arrival from a world opposite of it is about to come into this Sol Dimention.  This newcomer will help avert a castastrophe about to be set into place."

The fields late one night.  A surge of energy emerges out of nowhere.  Large amounts of rubble appear and land on the ground.  A large, red robot appears out of the energy surge.  The robot looks around.

???: SCANNNING LOCAL LANDMARKS. ....LANDMARKS UNABLE TO BE IDENTIFIED.  LOCATION UNKNOWN.  NO MATTER.  CONTINUE ON SEARCH AND DESTROY MISSION.

The next morning, inside a castle, the princess of this Sol Dimention, Blaze the Cat, paces around with something on her mind.

Blaze: I don't believe this.  How can HE of all people expect to be forgiven for all of his actions to my kingdom before?  It just doesn't make sense.  He's up to something.

Gardon: Your highnes... (opens the door) It's me, Gardon.  May I come in?

Blaze: I'd rather you'd didn't, and I wish you would stop calling me that.  I need some time to think by myself.

Gardon: Very well.

Guard: (voice) You can't go in there.  Gardon, stop her!

Gardon: I'm sorry, ma'am, but her highness does not wish for company at this time.

???: 'Oy, let go of me, you dingo!  I'm your captain, darn it!

Blaze: Marine?  ...It's okay, let her in.

Marine: That's more like it. (walks in) Ahoy, Blaze.  How's tricks?

Blaze: You kinda caught me in a bad mood, Marine.

Marine: Oh?  How's that?

Blaze: It's Eggman Nega, you see-

Marine: Blimey!  That drongo is back?  Let me at 'em!  Captain Marine will teach 'em a thing or two.

Blaze: Will you listen to me?  He says that he's turning over a new leaf.  He wants to make amends for all the wrong he's done and bury the hatchet.

Marine: That bloke is becoming a good guy?

Blaze: That I doubt.  He's up to something, but I can't prove it.  However, the council has given him the benefit of the doubt.  There's suppose to be a peace treaty to end his years of villainy.

Marine: If he's up to something, then why not stop him now?

Blaze: I can't.  My people have been bought in by all these gifts Eggman Nega has given then.  Even the council has been bought into this.  A cease-fire between us has been agreed, saying that as long as his robots don't attack us, he can observe the Sol Emeralds under guided supervision.

Marine: That's bonkers!

Blaze: I know.  The council might as well let him hand me my butt while they're at it.

Gardon: I'm sorry, your majesty, for intruding, but I need to inform you of this.

Blaze: What is it?

Gardon: I'm only reminding you that the banquet to mark the peace treaty with Doctor Eggman Nega is tomorrow.  You are allowed to have two guests to accompany you.

Marine: You mean a party?  Crikey!  Pick me, Pick me!  I wanna go!

Blaze: Oh, yeah, that.  I don't really want to go that though...

Marine: I wanna go, pick me, Blaze!

Gardon: I'm asking you as the captain of the guard that you come, if nothing else, to keep an eye on Eggman Nega.

Blaze: Alright, alright. Now then, who should I bring with me?

Marine: (bouncing off the walls) Pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me-!

Blaze: Alright!  If it will get you to stop bouncing around, I'll let you come as my guest.

Marine: Ace!  I'll teach that drongo not to mess with the great Captain Marine!

Blaze: (sigh) She's better than no one, I guess.

Guard: Princess Blaze. (walks into the room) Eggman Nega has returned with yet another present.

Blaze: Again? (aggrivated sigh) Alright, let's see what he has this time.

Blaze, Marine, and Gardon head out to the gates of the castle to see her so-called former arch-nemisis, Doctor Eggman Nega, at the gate talking to a member of the royal council.  A large robotic box behind him.

Eggman Nega: If you would be so kind to open the gates, I would love to show you my newest gift for the castle.

Blaze: Hello, Councilman Grouger.  ...Eggman Nega.

Grouger: Don't be so cold to our guest, Princess Blaze.  I'm so sorry about that, doctor.

Eggman Nega: I understand.  We do have a history, but I wish to put that behind me and make amends for all the wrong I have done.

Marine: Why should we trust you, ya half-empty monkey?

Gardon: Miss Marine, still your tongue.

Marine: Still my... what does that mean?

Blaze: I might as well see what you have in store for us today.  ....Open the gates.

Eggman Nega: Thank you, your highness. (the gates open.  He walks in with his box) What I have here is a security robot that draws power from the Sol Emeralds itself.  Having this guarding the emeralds will ensure that they never be stolen again.

Blaze: You expect me to trust one of YOUR robots to guard MY Sol Emeralds?  I'm fully capable of guarding them myself.

Eggman Nega: I didn't mean to throw mud on your... reputation for keeping them safe.  I am merely trying to help out.

Marine: Forget it, you oversized monkey!  As captain, I order you to get that hunk of junk outta here before I go all crazy on ya!

Grouger: Will some one keep that kid under control?

Marine: Oy, don't treat me like some little ankle-bitter- (Gardon covers her mouth) Hmph?!

Gardon: Please be quiet, Miss Marine.

Grouger: Now, your highness, the doctor is only trying to help out.  If you want this peace treaty to work, you need to learn to trust him.  If you won't do it for me, then do it for your people.

Blaze: My people... hmm...

Eggman Nega: All I need is your permission, and I'll have my robot guarding the Sol Emeralds like no one has done before. (holds out his hand) Do we have a deal?

Blaze: Um.... (aside) I can't trust him, not after everything he's done. (reluctantly holds up her hand) I want to protect my people, but... I know this is all a hoax.  Somebody, Anybody, see through his charade and stop him.

Off in the distance, the red robot uses its optic sensors to zoom in on Blaze and Eggman Nega.  The robot transforms its hands into gattling guns and open fires on them.  Everyone ducks for cover as the gates blow up.  From the smoke, the red robot comes out and advances on them.

Marine: Crikey, who's that bloke?

Blaze: Another one of your robots, huh?  I knew you couldn't be trusted.

Grouger: Now hold on, your majesty, we need to find out what it wants.

???: SCANNING ALL LIFE FORMS. (scans everyone) ABNORMAL HEAT SIGNATURE COMING FROM FEMALE FELINE.

Blaze: Hold it right there. (stands in front of the robot.) Leave now or elss- (the robot pushes her aside) Oof.

Marine: Oy, you can't push her around.  She's a princess!

???: THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING.  IF YOU DELAY ME FROM DESTROYING MY TARGET, I WILL DESTROY YOU.

Blaze: Wait, if you're not after me, then who are you after?

???: (points to Eggman Nega) TARGET SIGHTED. (transforms his hands into cannons) PREPARE TO ENGAGE AND DESTROY.

Eggman Nega: Excuse me?!  What did you just say?

Blaze: I see what's going on now.  This is all some sort of trick to get convince me you're on the good side by having your own robot attack you.

Eggman Nega: No, no.  It's nothing like that.  I've never seen that robot before in my life.

Omega: LIAR!  HAVE YOU ALREADY FORGOTTEN?  I AM E-123, CODENAME: OMEGA.  I AM YOUR STRONGEST ROBOT, BUT YOU HAVE FORSAKEN ME.  NOW, IT IS MY MISSION TO DESTROY EVERY ROBOT YOU BUILD, THEN DESTROY YOU.

Blaze: He seems to know you pretty well.

Omega: THIS IS THE END.  SAY GOODBYE, DOCTOR EGGMAN.

Blaze: Huh?  Hey, hold up...

Eggman Nega: (aside) What did he just call me? (the box transforms into a robot.) Now's the time to test the Egg Guardian's capabilites on on the field.

Omega: EGGMAN ROBOT DETECTED.  COMBAT MODE INITIATED.

Grouger: Your highness, you have to help defeat Omega.

Blaze: What?!  Are you asking me to help my worst enemy?

Grouger: We don't have a choice.  If this is one of the doctor's robots gone rogue, we have to stop it before innocent people are hurt.

Marine: I can take both of them on.  Let me at 'em!

Blaze: Alright... (stands beside the Egg Guardian) Maybe... I have to think of something...

Omega: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.  THOSE WHO SIDE WITH DOCTOR EGGMAN WILL BE DESTROYED.
