Long ago, Sinuba was a jail keeper who lost his life in a duel for his true love, the heir to the throne of a desert kingdom. For reasons unknown, he was mummified and entombed in his own prison. Legend has it a vicious sandstorm engulfed the prison and the kingdom.

Over 2000 years later, Sinuba is brought back from the dead by a mysterious power. He soon learns that he has been cursed by that strange sandstorm that destroyed his home 2000 years ago. Under the "Sands of Wrath," if he loses his temper, he loses rational thought and will destroy anything in his path with his control of sand. To this day, Sinuba travels alone with is curse holding the pendent he was to give his true love. He wishes to one day find his way back to the afterlife where he belongs.
