To choose an obscure character was no problem for me. I wanted to go with a cool video game character who never got his moment in the sun since his game came out at the end of the Sega Genesis era. His name is Ristar, the shooting star. Inspired by a character of Sega's that would have been its mascot if it wasn't for Sonic the Hedgehog, Ristar rises up when an evil space pirate named Greedy threaten a peaceful galaxy and turns their leaders against their own planets. Ristar deserves another game, people. We can't let him fall into gaming history in obscurity.
Ristar belongs to SEGA.
Ristar is drawn and colored by hand, then taken into Photoshop with a very crappy background.
